Tasmeem

Tasmeem is an annual poster design exhibition held by ICD Brookfield Place in Dubai, created to give emerging designers and artists a platform and contribute to the evolving graphic design discourse in the region. Each year, my team and I bring together a selection committee consisting of professionals across type design, graphic design, and other creative disciplines, who select 12 posters from an open call to be exhibited. We also invite a writer to develop the theme for each edition, and I work closely with them to understand their ideas and translate their vision into a visual identity. While the theme and visual language change from year to year, Tasmeem remains the overarching identity that ties each edition together. I developed the Tasmeem brand and logo to create a recognizable framework for the exhibition—one that can evolve, adapt, and make space for a new creative perspective each year.
